Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"What can you ask for? Paid ₱140 for this meal. Classic kanto pares. All good naman. Place was clean also."
"Food: I ordered the beef pares and tokwa't baboy side dish. The food tasted great, but the serving was smaller than I expected. However, for the price, it was adequate. The soup was served hot, which was good. Service: The service was great, and the staff were delightful. They served my food quickly. Atmosphere: The restaurant is small and a little plain. I've been to other Pares restaurants with better themes and atmosphere. Overall, I recommend eating here."
"Good, traditional Filipino fast food for cheap. Not usually crowded. Great place for when you want to squeeze in a quick meal."
"Good food with affordable price. You should order Mami there."
"I liked the Mami although it had this weird off metal taste to it. Perhaps it was the noodles. The broth was PERFECT though. The male owner is friendly but can get too much in your business. Relax a little bud."
"Great food and fast n convenient service. Great prices and affordable. Filling and cooked well."
"You can’t get more basic than this place — and honestly, that’s part of its charm. This spot is clearly for people on a budget. The beef pares is actually pretty good, but if you’ve got a big appetite, one rice meal probably won’t cut it. An extra cup of rice — or even another order — still keeps things affordable at ₱100 per meal. The beef and siomai mami, though, is just okay and nothing special. We’re planning to try their silogs next time, which look promising. What really stood out was the staff. They were warm, pleasant, and more genuinely welcoming than the “trained” crews in some pricier restaurants. I’m guessing one of the guys is actually the owner. Overall, it’s a solid choice for simple, no-frills Filipino comfort food."
"Food and customer service is spot on! Would always come back for their tapsilog and tokwa’t baboy"
